Many of you will know of Hussein through the Hope Transfusion story, and we've got some news to share. We partnered with the Preemptive Love Coalition on this project, an organization staunchly committed to fighting the plethora of life-threatening heart conditions affecting children in Iraq. Because of the gravity of Hussein's condition, he had to be operated on well before the Hope Transfusion t-shirt could raise enough money for his surgery. Thankfully, Hussein is doing quite well.

Last week, we transferred $2,428.97 raised so far from the t-shirt's sales to the PLC. That leaves $1,571.03 left to be raised, which means that we need to sell about 164 more of the shirts (and then, of course, they will be gone). With Hussein's surgery in the past, the funds will now be used to pay for the surgeries of other children, and believe us there are plenty.
