Bob Frick, 71, is about to complete his coast to coast trek to raise funds and community awareness for Habitat for Humanity. His journey will conclude on November 15, 2008 in St. Augustine, where he will be greeted by fellow cyclists who will join him in his last few miles to the Atlantic Ocean.

Bob has raised $71,000 for the Habitate East Bay, CA affiliate by riding 3300 miles from San Diego to St. Augustine.

To welcome Bob and his wife (who has been trailing behind Bob in her Toyota Prius), Habitat for Humanity will be hosting an event on Saturday, November 15, at 10 a.m. A bicycle ride will start in downtown St. Augustine (Flagler College FEC Building) with Bob Frick as he completes the last leg of his journey. Volunteer cyclists age 10 and up are welcome and encouraged to join. A community festival will follow at the St. Augustine Beach Ocean Pier Pavilion with live music from "General Southern", a local Southern Rock Band, refreshments, and community fellowship.
